Senior Data Operations Specialist - Investment Management/ Client Reporting

London - circa £40k negotiable

Huguenot Services Limited, a fast growing Knightsbridge-based provider to the fund management industry specialising in client reporting, is looking for a senior operations specialist to play a key role in the design and management of data flows for its fund data services.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• a minimum of 4 years experience in an operations role in fund management (or in a custodian / third party administrator environment), most likely with a focus on performance measurement/internal reporting/performance attribution/risk return analysis
• excellent business analysis, data analysis and numerical skills (including familiarity with complex financial calculations and data flows in a spreadsheet-based client reporting context)
• Experience working with 3rd party service providers (eg Lipper, MorningStar) will be advantageous
• advanced MS Excel skills (including complete fluency with lookups, pivot tables, VBA macros, etc... )
• Any database/SQL skills will be an asset
• outstanding operations management skills, including acute attention to detail and the determination to deliver excellent client service
• proactive problem solving skills , the ability to perform well under pressure and the dedication to handle very challenging workloads when required
• very good communication and team work skills
• good all round IT literacy in an MS Office environment

The Senior Operations Specialist will be expected to quickly assume complete responsibility for his area.
